Lumen: Tagalog & Cebuano Bible ("Lumen" or "the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App and its service providers may access, collect, use, and share.
Lumen does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. The App stores information locally to provide features such as:
If you choose the location-based language option, Lumen requests approximate location once to suggest a supported Bible language. Lumen stores the resulting language choice on your device and does not store your exact coordinates.
Lumen uses the following Google Firebase services:
Lumen uses Google AdMob to display and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, device or other identifiers, IP-derived information, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and related technical information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Ads may be personalized where permitted by law and your consent or device settings.
Where required, Lumen asks for consent before requesting ads. You can review available advertising consent choices through Settings > Privacy Choices. You can also reset or delete the Android advertising ID in your device's privacy settings.
Lumen uses an internet connection to fetch Bible translations that are not cached, download speech assets, load voice metadata, deliver notifications, report analytics and crashes, and request advertisements. Downloaded Bible and speech content can be used offline after it is stored on your device.
We do not sell personal data. Information described in this policy may be processed by Google and its advertising partners to provide Firebase and AdMob services. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

You can clear Lumen's storage or uninstall the App to remove locally stored data. Information processed by Google is retained and deleted according to Google's service settings and retention policies. Advertising preferences and activity controls may also be available through your device and Google account settings.
Lumen does not require an account and does not knowingly ask children to submit personal contact information. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us using the address below.
We take reasonable steps to reduce privacy and security risks, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to Lumen or its service providers. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
